Assistance with supported independent living

Important registration update
Supported independent living is a higher-risk support. SIL providers must be registered with the NDIS Commission. Unified Steps is currently an unregistered NDIS provider and is progressing through the NDIS registration process. We are not currently accepting new NDIS-funded SIL referrals while our application is being assessed. If you are a self-managed participant who chooses and manages your own support workers, the arrangement may not be classified as SIL. Contact us to discuss your circumstances.
You can read more on our NDIS funding page.
Supported independent living (SIL) is a package of support for people with higher support needs who need help with daily living in their home. It is different from drop-in support or help with household tasks.
SIL can include support with daily living tasks, personal care and building independence, depending on the participant's plan and needs. It is a higher-risk support with specific registration requirements.
Unified Steps is currently an unregistered NDIS provider and is progressing through the NDIS registration process.
