Complaints and feedback
Draft for review
This page is a working draft. Unified Steps should confirm its internal complaints process, record-keeping and response approach before publication.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
How to give feedback or make a complaint
You can contact us by phone or email:
- Phone: 0451 084 731
- Email: info@unifiedsteps.com.au
You can ask to speak to the person responsible for handling feedback. If you prefer, you can ask a family member, friend, advocate or support coordinator to contact us with you or on your behalf.
What to include
It helps if you tell us:
- what happened;
- when and where it happened;
- who was involved, if you know;
- what you would like to happen; and
- how we can contact you.
You do not need to write a formal statement. We will listen and discuss the next steps with you.
What we will do
We will take your feedback seriously, treat you with respect and discuss what happens next. We will not treat you differently because you have made a complaint. We will keep information about your complaint confidential as far as possible and only share it with people who need it to respond.
We do not publish a specific response timeframe here because our internal process is still being finalised. If you need an update, you can contact us.
If you are not satisfied
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. The Commission can receive complaints about NDIS providers, including unregistered providers.
- Phone: 1800 035 544 (free call)
- Website: ndiscommission.gov.au
You can also contact the Commonwealth Ombudsman or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for privacy concerns. We will not stop supporting you or treat you unfairly because you have raised a concern.
